The regular season of the tier-2 Challengers scene is in full swing, and the second stage of the France Revolution tournament is partially taking place in LAN format. That’s exactly why an unexpected incident occurred yesterday: fans and supporters of DVM attacked fans of the opposing team, Joblife.
Details of the incident
VALORANT Challengers 2025 France is a regular competitive tournament in the European region. It's split into three stages, during which teams fight for a spot at the Ascension tournament—an opportunity to secure the single available slot in the VCT partnered league. Currently, the play-in stage of the VALORANT Challengers 2025 France: Revolution Stage 2 is underway, and during one of the matches yesterday, an unexpected conflict broke out.
Both the play-in and playoff stages are being held on LAN at Les Arènes, which drew fans from many teams. However, it was during the DMV vs. Joblife match that the brawl erupted—reportedly started by DMV fans. According to eyewitnesses, a verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight, with DVM supporters being the instigators.

Organizers issue a statement
Immediately following the incident, the Challengers France organizers released an official statement on their social media. In it, they announced that the match between Joblife and DVM was halted, and the DVM fans who started the fight were escorted out of the venue. The organizers also noted that further sanctions against DVM may follow.
Due to the unfortunate events that took place during Challengers and the unacceptable behavior witnessed, we have decided to remove the group of DVM supporters from the venue and cancel the match between Joblife and DVM in order to protect the interests of players and attendees. The league does not tolerate such behavior, which stands in direct opposition to the values of esports. The incident is currently under investigation, and the organizers are considering further disciplinary actions. We apologize to the fans who came to attend the event. We fully understand the disappointment this has caused and commit to taking all necessary measures, together with participating teams, to prevent such incidents in the future.
It remains unclear what the investigation will conclude, but organizations are held responsible for their fans' conduct. As a result, DVM may face a fine or even disqualification from the ongoing event.
