Dataminers have revealed the concept of future skins in Valorant

The upcoming eighth episode will bring a lot of new features to the Valorant community, including new weapon skins. Today, renowned dataminers shared potential skins for the Vandal, as well as melee weapons.

Remember that yesterday we published an article in which a Turkish dataminer discussed an upcoming skin for a knife. According to his information, it will be styled after the Japanese weapon Kusarigama. Today, these rumors were confirmed, and other well-known dataminers, including VALORANT Leaks & News, showed what the future knife skin will look like.

As seen in the image, the knife indeed resembles a Kusarigama, but the main weapon will not be a sickle but kunai, which will be connected by a chain. They are named Kuronami No Yaiba. Interestingly, in the comments, the community speculates that this might be a reference to the game Mortal Kombat, as one of the characters in this universe, Scorpion, had similar kunai.

Additionally, dataminers also revealed a new skin for the Vandal, named Kuronamu Vandal. Like the previous kunai, the weapon is designed in a simple style with sharp angles. Interestingly, there's an unknown light effect swirling around the main part of the rifle, suggesting that it might have a special finishing animation.

It's still unknown when the new set will be released, but it can be assumed that it will be next year, with the launch of the eighth episode. The price of the set is also unknown, but the skins appear to be at least of Premium rarity, or possibly higher.
