Indian organization True Rippers Esports, at the start of 2024, signed two new members to their Valorant coaching roster, but parted ways with both just a few months later. Yesterday, it was announced that Pablo "Darkzero" Alonso, who had been with the team as a coach, is leaving the group.
Darkzero himself announced this decision on his official social media. The coach stated that he is unable to be with the team at the upcoming tournament and therefore does not have the right to call himself a coach. He expressed only love and respect for his former players and the organization and thanked them for the time spent together.
Pablo "Darkzero" Alonso, a seasoned 32-year-old Spanish coach, started his Valorant career back in 2020. He spent the last season with True Rippers Esports, and under his guidance, the club performed excellently at several tournaments. Thanks to his directives, the team twice secured second place at VALORANT Challengers 2024 South Asia: Split 1 - Cup 1 and Cup 2, and later again took second place at VALORANT Challengers 2024: South Asia Split 2. This secured the team a spot in the third stage, but unfortunately, they will be competing without Darkzero’s help.
The future of Pablo "Darkzero" Alonso is yet unknown, but the coach hinted in his message that he is open to new offers. Thus, we will keep an eye on his official social media to find out which team will sign such an experienced coach.
