On October 4, Riot Games announced the removal of Bleed Esports from the VCT Pacific league. According to the official statement, the decision was made due to the team's failure to comply with obligations under the Team Participation Agreement (TPA) and other key responsibilities.

After their removal, Bleed Esports released a statement claiming that over the past year, they had been trying to resolve TPA-related issues in collaboration with Riot Games but were unsuccessful. This ultimately led to the team's exit from VCT Pacific.

Financial problems: Unpaid salaries and CEO disappearance

The situation worsened with internal financial problems, publicly reported by CS2 division coach kassad. He stated that the team has been suffering from prolonged delays in salary payments, transfer fees, and prize money. Additionally, it was reported that the CEO of Bleed Esports has gone missing, and the management has been ignoring staff concerns.

Following the recent news and events at Bleed Esports, we have decided to disclose the information. After months of attempting to resolve our internal issues privately, we feel obligated to share what has already happened and what is still under development. BLEED's management has consistently ignored our concerns, leaving us no choice but to publicly sever ties with them.

 

It was reported that players had to cover some bootcamp expenses themselves, and a significant portion of the prize money remains unpaid. Similar issues with delayed salaries and contract breaches have been observed in other divisions such as Dota 2, Valorant, and Rainbow Six Siege.

Moreover, Terd, a member of the R6S division, updated information about the situation on X. The company is accused of failing to pay $35,000, with outstanding debts dating back to its entry in March 2023. As in kassad's previous statements, it was found that the team management repeatedly provided standard responses and made false promises.

The financial difficulties have severely impacted the players preparation and motivation, leading to a decline in team performance. The situation surrounding Bleed Esports highlights that even in 2024, top esports organizations can still struggle to fulfill their fundamental obligations.
