BLEED Esports excluded from the PACIFIC League: statement by team captain crazyguy

Riot Games officially announced the exclusion of BLEED Esports from the VCT Pacific League due to violations related to the team agreement. Following this, team captain crazyguy made a statement on Facebook, revealing details of the incident.

Reason for BLEED Esports exclusion

On October 4, 2024, Riot Games announced that BLEED Esports was excluded from the PACIFIC League for "failing to comply with key obligations outlined in the Team Participation Agreement (TPA)". As a result, BOOM Esports, which placed second in the Ascension tournament, was promoted to the league in place of BLEED.

Players and coaches reactions

Some BLEED players have already announced their free-agent status, including sScary and team coach LEGIJA. Meanwhile, team captain crazyguy released a statement on his Facebook page to clarify the situation and dispel rumors. He noted that the text was translated from Vietnamese to English, which might have caused some stylistic errors.

The team was unaware of the exclusion in advance

According to crazyguy, the BLEED team was not informed about the exclusion in advance. The players received an email 30 minutes before Riot Games' official announcement, which came as a complete surprise to all team members.

The BLEED captain also addressed rumors of unpaid salaries and unclear financial reports:

After winning Ascension, the final step was for the organization to prove its financial transparency and have the necessary funds to participate in the franchise. Since 2022, I have never faced issues with unpaid salaries or other financial difficulties.

The future of BLEED Esports and its VALORANT division

Addressing the future of BLEED Esports, crazyguy emphasized that the organization has not decided to disband its Valorant division. The team's owner assured the players that if they wish to return to Ascension, BLEED will be ready to support them on that path.

Final thoughts

crazyguy expressed regret over the incident but noted that he remains optimistic and ready to continue his career with any team. He added:

Once you've been in the franchise, you'll have another chance to make it again.
