Bilibili Gaming welcomes a new head coach to their Valorant roster

The Chinese team Bilibili Gaming missed the first major tournament in 2024, but despite this, the club continues to develop and prepare for upcoming competitions. It was announced today that the club's management has bought out the well-known Korean coach Lee "bail" Sung-jae, who will now be the head coach of Bilibili.

The team announced this decision on their official Twitter account. It should be noted that Lee "bail" Sung-jae had been part of the ODG Esports Club for several months, which meant he had to pay a deposit to leave the team. Instead, this was done by the management of Bilibili, who valued the coach's talent.

We are pleased to announce that the coach has been released on bail. Lee "bail" Sung-jae will officially join BLG Valorant as the head coach today!! We welcome the head coach on bail, let's give him more opportunities.

Since October 2023, Lee "bail" Sung-jae coached the ODG Esports Club team, but they failed to achieve any notable success. The team failed at all three stages of the Valorant China Evolution Series, as a result, missing out on a chance to enter the partnership program with Riot.

Now the Bilibili Gaming roster is fully formed and ready for upcoming competitions. The VCT 2024: China Stage 1 starts in a week, so we will be following the team to see if the new head coach can improve the club's performance.
