Attacking Soul and Rare Atom easily advance to the playoffs of Valorant China Ascension 2023

The Chinese Challengers League has ended, and for several days now, we have been following the main fight of tier-2 teams. Yesterday, the winners' matches in groups A and B took place, after which the first two teams that advanced to the playoff stage became known.

The first team to make it to the playoff stage is the tier-2 scene favorite Rare Atom. The team performed excellently in the Valorant China Evolution Series where they competed on par with the top Chinese teams, so it's not surprising that they were among the favorites in the current tournament. In the winners' match, the club faced Night Wings Gaming, and the result was quite expected. On the first map, Split, Rare Atom confidently won with a double advantage of 13-6. The second map, Bind, saw a more equal clash, but ultimately the favorites again emerged victorious.

In the winners' match of Group B, we anticipated a meeting between two equally strong teams, Attacking Soul versus Dragon Ranger. Despite both participants being evenly matched, the game was quite one-sided, ending in a clean victory for Attacking Soul. In the first encounter on the map Bind, the team confidently won with a score of 13-6, and on the second map, Lotus, there was a struggle, but the result remained the same, a victory with a score of 13-8.

Now both teams have a few days of rest, as the playoff matches will only start on December 27. Remember, Valorant China Ascension 2023 is being held from December 23 to December 30 in a LAN format in Shanghai. 8 tier-2 teams are competing for a prize pool, the size of which is still unknown, as well as the main tournament prize, a two-year partnership with Riot Games.
