Following the Chinese and American regions, the Pacific region has now begun its journey with VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1, where the debut matches featured Global Esports vs. DetonatioN FocusMe and T1 vs. ZETA Division.

Global Esports vs. DetonatioN FocusMe

The result of the first match of VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 was unexpected. The favorites, DetonatioN FocusMe, in whom most believed, failed to handle Global Esports. They lost their map pick, Pearl, with a 13:11 score, and the opponent’s pick 13:7. As a result, Global Esports secured a clean 2-0 victory.

T1 vs. ZETA Division

T1 made their fans nervous by losing Split—their own map pick—with a 12:14 score, tying the series 1:1. However, the Masters Bangkok 2025 champions lived up to expectations, confidently winning on Haven with a 13:5 score and taking the series 2:1.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 runs from March 22 to May 21 in a LAN format at Sangam Colosseum in Seoul. Twelve partnered teams from VCT Pacific are competing for three spots at Masters Toronto, as well as for valuable Pacific Points, which are crucial for qualification to Champions 2025.
