Asuna hints at possible changes in 100 Thieves roster

Most teams during the off-season are planning to make changes to their Valorant rosters, and the American team 100 Thieves is no exception. Player Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk has hinted at possible changes to the main lineup.

Rumors of Possible Changes

It should be noted that rumors about potential roster changes surfaced a few days ago, but as of now, there is no official information about how the 100 Thieves lineup will evolve. Currently, according to the Valorant Champions Tour Global Contract Database, the contracts of all 100 Thieves members, except for the head coach, expire in 2024. Head coach Zikz recently extended his contract with the organization until 2027, as we reported in one of our articles. While no changes have been officially announced, according to Valorant News, Asuna from 100 Thieves has hinted that changes are indeed coming. However, it's still unclear which players will leave the team and who will stay.

Team Performance This Season

Looking at the team's results, one might assume that changes are not necessary. Although the team underperformed at VCT 2024: Americas Kickoff, where they placed 10th-11th and missed the Masters Madrid, they made a comeback at VCT 2024: Americas Stage 1. After winning Stage 1, they went on to Masters Shanghai, where they finished in 4th place. The second stage in the Americas region, VCT 2024: Americas Stage 2, ended with the team in 4th place, meaning they did not qualify for Valorant Champions 2024. Based on this, we can conclude that the team's performance has been quite decent, so it's likely that not the entire main lineup will undergo changes.
