Assistant coach Mikes leaves 100 Thieves

The competitive season for the American team 100 Thieves has come to an end, and the team is beginning preparations for the off-season. As part of this, the team has made its first significant roster change in Valorant, saying goodbye to assistant coach Michael "Mikes" Hockom.

The team's representatives announced this decision on their official social media channels. The club's management bid farewell to Mikes, who had been with 100 Thieves for the past two years, and thanked him for all the trophies he helped secure, as well as his significant contribution to the development of the team.

Farewells are never easy, and this is no exception. Thank you, Mikes, for the trophies, passion, and dedication you brought to 100 Thieves VALORANT.

Michael "Mikes" Hockom is a 25-year-old American coach who joined 100 Thieves at the end of March 2022. During his time with the club, he served as the head coach at one point and later returned to the role of assistant. Mikes helped the team achieve numerous trophies and podium finishes, including 1st place at Red Bull Home Ground #3, 5-8th place at LOCK//IN São Paulo, and in the current season, 1st place at VCT 2024: Americas Stage 1 and 4th place at VCT 2024: Masters Shanghai.

It is not yet known if the team plans to search for a new assistant coach, but considering that the coaching staff currently consists of only one member, it can be assumed that we will soon find out who will replace Mikes in his position.
