AEX-1 Disbands female Valorant team?

Today it was announced that the Swedish esports organization AEX-1 has allowed three players from its female team AEX-1 Nova to seek new teams. Ella, Koneko, and Kreya stated on their social media that they are open to new offers for the upcoming competitive season.

The girls from AEX-1 Nova showed decent results in the current season, but only in unofficial tournaments. The team won Birds of Prey - Episode 5, and later Project Queens 2023 - Split 2. At the events organized by Riot Games, things were harder; the team took 4th place at VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Contenders Series 1, unfortunately, only the top three were award spots, which included invitations to VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Stage 2. The next stage of the Series 2 also turned out to be a failure, where AEX-1 Nova finished in 5-6th place. The last tournament for the team was Project Queens 2023 - Split 3, and despite winning in the second stage, this one ended with a 9-16th place. The poor performance became the main reason for parting ways with the three participants.

Recall that the Swedish organization is focusing on its main team. The team recently introduced a new roster for the current offseason OFF//SEASON. Read more about the new line-up in our material. The fate of the other members of the female team remains unknown, but considering that the performance for the team in the current season has ended, it is possible that the organization will decide to part ways with other players.
