100 Thieves announces open call for coaches to join their Valorant roster

The American organization 100 Thieves is already actively preparing for the upcoming offseason and continues to update its Valorant roster. Yesterday, it was announced that the team is looking for a new assistant coach, as shared on the club's official social media channels.

Recent Changes in the Coaching Staff

Although the organization likely doesn't plan to change its player lineup, this doesn't apply to the coaching staff, one of whom has already left the team. A few days ago, assistant coach Mikes said goodbye to the club after two years of collaboration. You can read more about this in our article. Fans of the team also expected that head coach Anthony "Zikz" Gray might also leave the team, but the organization has not announced such a decision. On the contrary, Zikz extended his contract with 100 Thieves until 2027, as we also reported in our article. Considering yesterday's announcement, it's clear that the organization plans to build a new coaching staff around him.

Looking for New Members

Yesterday, the official Twitter account of the organization posted a message in which the team representatives reached out to all coaches. They stated that they are looking for a new coach to join Zikz for the 2025 VCT Season. This likely means that Zikz will remain as the head coach, and the organization is looking for an assistant for him. Applications can be submitted on the team's official website, and the only requirement is to analyze 100 Thieves' game on Icebox and Fnatic's game on Haven, which is relatively minimal compared to the demands of other well-known organizations.

In the comments to the post, there was a significant interest from those wanting to join the partnered organization, but mostly these are lesser-known coaches from the Tier-2 and Tier-3 scenes, so it's unclear whether they have enough experience. We will continue to monitor the team's social media to find out who will strengthen the 100 Thieves coaching staff.
