Thanks to victories in the first stage of the playoffs, the teams 100 Thieves and Gen.G Esports have secured their places in the semifinals of the upper bracket at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Masters Shanghai.
The first two matches of the playoff stage went without surprises: both teams, considered leaders, won and advanced to the next stage. There, they will face each other for a spot in the upper bracket final and move closer to the championship, which not only increases their financial standing ($350,000 for first place) but also brings them closer to Valorant Champions 2024, as the champion will receive an additional 3 VCT Points.

The Masters Shanghai playoffs run from May 30 to June 9. The 8 strongest teams remaining after the group stage continue to compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000 and 3 VCT Points, which will be awarded to the winning team.
