The second major tournament of the year, Masters Madrid, has already passed its main stages, and the most exciting playoff phase is yet to come. In the first match, where FUT Esports is currently battling 100 Thieves, the latter's notoriously problematic captain once again lived up to his reputation.
The incident occurred on the first map, Icebox, where 100 Thieves demolished their opponents with a score of 13-2. During this match, captain Kelden "Boostio" Pupello, known for his past behavior at Evil Geniuses, was notably provocative. During the current clash against FUT Esports, he repeatedly stood up from his gaming station and shouted various provocative statements towards his opponents, as well as pointing at them with a small pig toy.

Although at first glance, it seemed like a normal game provocation, some spectators noticed a religious context to it. The issue is that FUT Esports is from Turkey, a predominantly Muslim country where pork is forbidden and pigs are considered unclean. Therefore, some viewers suggest that Boostio deliberately mocked his opponents by using a religious context.
As of this writing, 100 Thieves have won the second map with a score of 13-5, advancing to the upper bracket semi-finals. Meanwhile, FUT Esports drops to the first round of the lower bracket, where they will await their opponent after today's other matches conclude.
