VCT 2025: Masters Toronto — the second international tournament of the year. The event will take place from June 7 to 22 in Toronto, Canada. It will feature 12 teams competing for a prize pool of $1,000,000 and ranking points necessary for further qualification to Valorant Champions 2025. Event Participants
Based on the results of Stage 1 of the regional leagues VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, VCT CN, and VCT Pacific, the following teams have qualified for Toronto: Fnatic, Team Heretics, Team Liquid, G2 Esports, Sentinels, MIBR, XLG Esports, Bilibili Gaming, Wolves Esports, Rex Regum Qeon, Gen.G Esports, Paper Rex.
Tournament Format and Match Schedule
The tournament consists of two stages: the group stage using the Swiss system and the playoffs.
Eight teams that placed second and third in the regional playoffs Stage 1 start from the group stage. Four teams that won their leagues advance directly to the playoffs.
Group stage format:
- Each team plays a maximum of 3 Best of 3 series.
- 2 wins — the team advances to the playoffs.
- 2 losses — the team is eliminated.
- All matches take place from June 7 to 11.
- Participants of the Swiss stage: Gen.G, Paper Rex, Team Liquid, Bilibili Gaming, Sentinels, Wolves Esports, MIBR, Team Heretics
Playoff stage format:
- The first loss sends a team to the lower bracket.
- The second loss ends their tournament run.
- All matches will be played from June 13 to 22.
- Teams automatically advancing to the playoffs: Fnatic, G2, RRQ, XLG.
