An important aspect of the team's success at Valorant is the right choice of agents for each map. Each location has its own peculiarities that require a unique approach and, in turn, different characters. That's why today we have prepared an article for you in which we will tell you about the best agents for each map in Valorant.
Before we start, we should note that you won't see some of the maps listed below in the competitive mode, as the ranking game has its own map rotation. But don't worry, when a location appears in the available pool, you will be able to test the agents you need on it.
1 - Ascent

The first location on our list is Ascent. It's a map with open spaces and a lot of narrow corridors that requires smokes and exploration. Sova and Omen will do a great job with this task, and Raze or Jett will be great duelists.
- Sova has an advantage with its arrows, which allow you to find enemies and reveal their positions. It also has a drone that can easily check every corner in narrow corridors.
- Omen has an advantage over other smokers because his smoke is a basic ability that will regenerate over time, which is the best choice on the slow Ascent map.
- Raze can easily control narrow corridors with grenade and ultimates.
- Jett doesn't have any special advantages other than her mobility, but thanks to her jumps, she can play well in the center of the map.

2 - Bind

The Bind map has one feature, and that is the presence of two portals that provide unique gameplay. Agents that are good at controlling space and creating strategic advantages, such as Viper and Cypher, are well suited for this location.
- Viper can effectively take over a large portion of the map and block the enemy team's view with its wall and ultimates.
- Cypher will help to ensure control of the map with its cameras and traps. This is especially useful when there are portals, and will prevent enemies from suddenly wrapping around you and getting behind you.

3 - Haven

Haven is the first map in the game to have three Spike locations, which dramatically changes the gameplay and requires a different choice of agents. Due to its large size, mobile characters such as Omen, Neon, and Jett will feel great on it.
- Jett, thanks to his jumps, can play perfectly at points A and B to take advantage of favorable positions.
- Neon, on the defense side, can quickly move between points and prevent opponents from rotating.
- Omen, on the other hand, can use an ultimatum to leave the fight at any time and set up or pick up Spike on the opposite side of the map.

4 - Split

Split is a map with a vertical layout and narrow corridors. Agents Vyse and Sage are indispensable on the Split map, thanks to their unique abilities that can stop opponents.
- Sage is a support on this map that can heal teammates, and most importantly, block the space for the enemy team with its ice wall.
- Vyse, although it does not heal allies, also has a metal wall that can block off one enemy to kill them quickly.

5 - Fracture

One of the most difficult maps in the game, according to players, Fracture is divided into two parts by spawns, which makes it quite difficult for the defense. That's why agents who can control a large area, such as Killjoy and Brimstone, who can stop enemies on their own thanks to their ultimates, will be the best.
- Killjoy can use Lockdown to prevent the attacker from entering the point and setting up Spike.
- Brimstone can do the same with his Orbital Strike ultimates, but also playing for the attacking side can prevent enemies from neutralizing Spike from a safe distance.

6 - Lotus

Lotus is the second map with three points, and also the only one with unique doors that rotate with a mechanism. Their rotation speed is quite low, which makes it great to play near them with blinding abilities like Reyna and Breach.
- Breach with its control abilities creates space for the team. He opens the door and at the same time throws his wall-breaking abilities in, and teammates run out to stun the opponents.
- Reyna is also great at blowing doors open on her own, as her Leer ability also works through walls.

7 - Pearl

Pearl is a map with a lot of corners and hidden places. Therefore, agents such as Fade and Astra are a great option to gain an advantage over the enemy team.
- Fade is an agent that has a large number of abilities that will help the team in collecting information about the location of opponents and allow them to check every corner.
- Astra, on the other hand, closes unpleasant corners and positions by blocking the view of the enemy team, and her ultimatum ability is one of the best for this map.

8 - Icebox

A winter map where the center part plays an important role. That's why you need agents that can either easily pass through the mid, or that can control it. Yoru and Chamber are perfect for these tasks.
- Yoru is a difficult agent to master, but thanks to its abilities, it can pass through the center of the map unnoticed.
- Chamber, on the other hand, can defend the mid, using ultimates and teleport skills to quickly escape in case of danger.

9 - Sunset

A standard map with two points, but a lot of corridors and corners. That's why Deadlock and Tejo are great on this map.
- Deadlock, thanks to its traps and walls, can easily catch enemies.
- Tejo in combination can deal a lot of damage to caught enemies with its ultimates and Guided Salvo.

10 - Abyss

The only unique map that doesn't have any barrier textures, which can cause players to fall outside of it. But it's thanks to this that certain agents have new functionality, namely Omen and Jett.
- Both of these agents can jump over certain places outside of the textures and suddenly find themselves behind enemies' backs.

11 - Breeze

The last map on our list is Breeze, which has been absent from the general pool for more than 300 days. The location is quite large in size, which is why it is suitable for agents whose skills do not depend on distance. These include KAY/O and Jett.
- Jett can quickly close the distance and get closer to opponents if necessary.
- KAY/O has a very large skill radius, which will allow it to control a large part of the map.

Remember that communication and cohesion between teammates also play an important role in achieving success, so work together, communicate and develop effective strategies to achieve the main goal - victory!
