Arsenal FC defender and founder of the esports project Passion UA, Oleksandr Zinchenko, shared his thoughts in an interview with HLTV about the CS:GO roster assembled by Mikhail “Kane” Blagin.
Zinchenko chose Kane due to his previous achievements, relying on his mettle. The athlete also intends to maintain close contact with the team and be as involved in the project's activities as possible.
Kane has incredible experience and quality, and he knows what to do. We fully trust him and believe that this project can become something large-scale. As a CS fan, when I heard about this idea, I was happy to participate in it.Usually, when you talk about the owner, you speak about someone you can't be close with, someone you can't talk to, so I just told the guys that I am open for them 24/7.
He identifies the goal of the project as the creation of an esports organization that will become a giant in the industry. This should give a boost to the development of esports in Ukraine. Zinchenko's plans are ambitious, but he's ready to start small.
The dream and goal are to play at the highest level and in the biggest competitions, but of course, we need to start somewhere. Arty [manager] came to me with the idea to bring this to life, and we trust our coach Kane.
