In the opening match of Group A of the BLAST Spring Final tournament, FaZe defeated SAW with a dominating performance. This win was an important step for FaZe in their quest to make the playoffs and strengthen their position among the top teams in the tournament.
Ancient
Ancient was the pick of SAW team and for the attack SAW started confidently dominating the opponent and finished the half with the score 10-2, but FaZe was not going to give up and also for the attack showed a great game and finished it also with the score 10-2 going to extra rounds. The first six extra rounds were played equally, FaZe took one in the first half, and two in the second and SAW on the contrary, eventually moving to the second extra rounds. FaZe started them with an advantage by taking three rounds in a row for defense, SAW managed to take one round and one could think we would go to the third extra rounds again, but FaZe still took one round and in the end the map ended with the score 19-16 in favor of FaZe.
Inferno
Inferno was FaZe's choice and on it they showed a great game, for the first half they took 8 rounds, which showed their preparation and advantage over the opponent on it, SAW took 4. In the second half after changing sides, FaZe started for defense, after losing the first pistol round they took five in a row, thus winning the match. The map ended with a score of 13-5 in favor of FaZe.

The MVP of this match is Robin “ropz” Kool from FaZe team.
FaZe advanced to the top final of the group and are waiting for the opponent from the pair NAVI vs. Astralis who have already started their match. SAW have fallen to the lower final where they will play a match for the elimination from the tournament and entry into the playoff stage. BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 will run through June 16.
