Counter-Strike 2 has received a fresh update: developers at Valve have added the Weekly Missions system, introduced new custom maps into matchmaking, and reorganized the Casual and Deathmatch groups. The patch notes have been published on the official CS2 blog and are now available in the game.
Among the main changes are the return of the legendary map Agency, the addition of new maps Jura and Grail, fresh maps Dogtown and Brewery in Wingman mode, and the launch of the weekly missions system with XP rewards. The update also includes audio fixes and user interface improvements.

The previous CS2 update, released in April, brought a rework of Inferno, the launch of the Fever Case available in the Armory Pass, and the introduction of four skin collections: Ascent, Boreal, Radiant, and The Train Collection 2025. Additionally, Valve changed the unique limited drop — now it's a skin for the XM1014 instead of the Desert Eagle. We detailed these changes in our article.
