Riot Games conducted the draw and revealed the team seeding for VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff, marking the beginning of the new competitive season for teams.
Each regional tournament holds significant value, as a failure in one of them could jeopardize a team's chances of securing a spot at Champions 2025. VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff will launch the new season, where teams will compete for two slots at Masters Bangkok and Pacific Points. These points will determine two additional teams from the region to qualify for the World Championship based on the final standings. Similar to EMEA and Americas, four teams—Paper Rex, DRX, Gen.G Esports, and Talon Esports—gained an advantage over the remaining eight teams due to their results in the previous season, where they qualified for Champions 2024. These teams will start in the second round of the double-elimination bracket, while the others will begin in the first round. The full seeding for VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff is listed below.
VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff, like similar tournaments in other regions, will kick off in January. Starting January 18, teams will begin the race for two slots at Masters Bangkok and Pacific Points, which will be awarded both for winning individual matches and achieving higher positions in the final standings.
