The draw for the 2025 Kick-Off tournament for the Americas region has taken place. The tournament bracket has been set, and the tournament will begin on January 16, 2025. The top two teams from each league will have the chance to compete at Masters in Bangkok. This tournament will be an important stage in the race for qualification for international competitions.

Tournament Format

Knockouts:

• All matches, except for the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final, will be played in Best of 3 (Bo3) format.
• The Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final will be played in Best of 5 (Bo5) format.
  
• The top 2 teams will qualify for Masters Bangkok.
  

Play-offs:

All 12 teams are divided into 2 pools based on their standings from the last season.Pool 1 includes the teams that participated in Champions 2024 Seoul:

• KRÜ Esports
• Sentinels
• G2 Esports
• Leviatán

Pool 2 consists of the remaining teams:

• Evil Geniuses
• LOUD
• MIBR
• 100 Thieves
• NRG
• Cloud9
• 2GAME Esports
• FURIA Esports

Stage Breakdown:

• Teams from Pool 1 receive a free round and advance directly to the play-offs.
• Teams from Pool 2 will play each other within their pool.

The first match-up features Evil Geniuses against LOUD, with the winner advancing to the upper bracket where they will face KRÜ Esports in the quarter-finals. The next match will be MIBR vs 100 Thieves, with the winner set to play against Sentinels.

The winners of the third match, NRG vs Cloud9, will face G2 Esports. The final match-up is 2GAME vs FURIA Esports, with the winner set to face Leviatán for further progression in the bracket.

Remember, the VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff starts on January 16 and will run until February 8, where the top 12 teams from the Americas region will compete for two spots at VCT 2025: Masters Bangkok and Americas Points.
