Michał "MICHU" Müller hopes that a change in role will help him find a place in a new team. The 27-year-old free agent has decided to take on the role of captain, three months after leaving IKLA.
MICHU, who has played for EG, Envy, Virtus.pro, and Kinguin, announced his intention to take on the captain's position. The Polish player has not played official matches since January 2024 and has yet to make his debut at LAN tournaments for Counter Strike 2. During his time with the now-defunct Ukrainian organization IKLA, the team managed to reach the closed qualifiers for the RMR but did not progress further. Subsequently, the organization's owner decided to shut it down.
MICHU expressed his desire to utilize his extensive experience as an in-game leader. "Throughout my esports career, I have played under various in-game leaders in teams that differed greatly in nationalities, cultural aspects, and characters," he wrote on Twitter. He emphasized his passion for developing new tactical solutions, grenades, and map strategies.
MICHU is open to new opportunities and encourages teams that are building new rosters or looking for a responsible person to contact him. This role change could help him find a new team, as captains are highly sought after in CS2 due to their scarcity.
