The European qualifier for IEM Dallas 2025 is coming to an end, and on February 11, the finalists of the lower bracket were announced. After intense matches, Astralis and Heroic were determined, and they will meet in the losers' final to compete for the last slot in the main tournament.

This game day was a test for many teams, especially for Astralis, who played three series and won three important victories. The Danes first knocked out Zero Tenacity, then beat BetBoom, and in the decisive match for the lower bracket final, they defeated Metizport.

On the other hand, Heroic also had a strong day, first beating BIG and then defeating Metizport 2-0 without a chance for the opponent.

Fighting in the lower bracket

The tournament was held according to the Double-Elimination system, which means that the teams had a second chance after losing in the upper bracket. Astralis, who lost in the previous rounds, started their journey in the losers' bracket with a confident victory over Zero Tenacity, after which they knocked out BetBoom in a tough match.

Heroic, who also missed the opportunity to advance through the upper bracket, started their fight in the lower bracket with a 2-1 win over BIG. Then, the Norwegians confidently shut down Metizport, reaching the lower bracket final.

Lower bracket final: the last chance for IEM Dallas 2025

On February 12, the lower bracket final between Astralis and Heroic will take place. The team that wins this match will join Team Falcons, BC.Game Esports, 3DMAX, and GamerLegion among those qualified for IEM Dallas 2025.
