ESL officially announced the list of the first six teams that will participate in IEM Dallas 2024, scheduled for May 27 - June 2 with a prize pool of $250,000. The competition will include five of the top six teams in the world according to the ESL ranking, including Vitality and Natus Vincere, who accepted partner invitations.
Vitality missed the Dallas competition in 2023, resting after winning the BLAST.tv Paris Major. NAVI, on the other hand, missed the tournament due to visa issues. Other participants include the finalists of IEM Dallas 2023, the MOUZ team, and the semifinalists FaZe. The partner lineup is completed by BIG and the American team Complexity.
Additionally, four teams with the highest ranking in the ESL world ranking will receive invitations. One place will be assigned to a "local hero," and the remaining five slots will be played out among participants in qualifying tournaments in Europe, America, Asia, and Oceania.
