The FACEIT platform published an infographic showing the journey of FUT Esports players from registering on the service to participating in the ESL Pro League. The image highlights key dates—from account creation and reaching level 10 to winning their first prizes, playing in youth rosters, and breaking into the tier-1 scene. By February 2026, the FUT roster reached their first EPL.
What interesting insights did the statistics reveal?
cmtry - The Ukrainian player reached level 10 on FACEIT in less than half a month after creating a new account (June 2022). This rapid progress might indicate playing from a smurf account, as the player's stats during that period were exceptionally high.
lauNX - The Romanian esports player also quickly reached level 10 after registering in 2019. The development dynamics resemble smurfing, with progress being significantly faster than average.
dem0n - Despite being the fourth youngest in the lineup, dem0n has the most extensive gaming experience among his teammates. Based on his registration date (December 2018), he started playing on FACEIT at around 11 years old.
Dziuggs and Krabeni - The Lithuanian and Kosovan players also followed a typical path: reaching level 10, participating in their first ESEA seasons, earning debut prizes, and gradually advancing to the semi-professional scene.

The Path Through NAVI Junior
Four players from the current FUT roster previously played for NAVI Junior (alongside makazee). According to reports, they all consciously left their studies to focus on professional development in CS.
In August 2025, the players joined FUT, and by September, they won $41,000 at the Exort Series. In Season 7, their rankings varied significantly (#1319, #120, #830, #214, #119), yet in less than half a year, the team made it to the EPL.

The story of the FUT roster is an example of the rapid development of young players: from their first matches on FACEIT to participating in the ESL Pro League in just a few years.
Quickly reaching level 10, potential smurfing at the start of their careers, early transition to the professional scene, and forsaking traditional education for esports—all of this demonstrates how aggressively the new generation is building their careers in modern CS2.
