FUT Esports benches liyan in their women's Valorant roster

FUT Esports has moved liyan to the bench in their women's Valorant roster. This was announced by Nilay Bulus, known in esports as liyan, on her Twitter account.

Current roster of FUT Female:

  • İlayda "Lyda" Güzeldere
  • Damla "dati" Atila
  • Açelya "Julis" Özgen
  • Neslişah "Ness" Demir
  • Yağmur "Smurfette" Gündüz
  • Ömer "QuestioN" Karabulut (coach)

Nilay "liyan" Bulus joined the team ahead of the season with the aim to strengthen the squad for the open qualifiers of the first series of Game Changers EMEA. However, the team failed to progress in these qualifiers, finishing in the eighth position, and decided to prepare for the second series. In between the series, the team easily triumphed in the REBELS #1 tournament.

The team managed to rectify their mistakes and prepare for the open qualifiers of the second series of the tournament. FUT Female won the qualifier and secured a spot in the VCT Game Changers: EMEA Series 2 2023.

The female roster of FUT Esports showcased an impressive result in the tournament, surprising many viewers. The rookie team clinched the second position, falling short only to the strongest women's team, G2 Gozen, from the EMEA region. For this performance, the team earned 6,000 euros, 40 EMEA Points, and a spot in the third series.

Comment from liyan

Nilay commented that although she is still under contract with FUT Esports, she has been allowed to consider other offers. Hence, she is actively looking for a new team and has no intentions of ending her career.
