FUT Female is on the verge of disbanding

Today, news broke about additional losses within the Turkish team FUT Female. Not long ago, Ness and Smurfette left the roster, and the remaining trio, consisting of dati, Julis, and Lyda, moved to the substitute bench.

From the players' Twitter profiles, we learned about their transition to the bench, and their message also expresses readiness to consider further collaboration with other organizations. Açelya "Julis" Özgen and İlayda "Lyda" Güzeldere were part of FUT Female throughout the entire 2023 season, but after unsuccessful attempts to qualify for the World Championship, they decided to suspend their activities within the team.

The start of the season was not ideal for the team. FUT Female faced a series of defeats in the VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Stage 1 Qualifier, finishing fifteenth in open qualifiers and last in the "Last Chance" stage.

However, FUT Female managed to bounce back by securing the first place in REBELS #1, which subsequently led them to VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 and provided an opportunity to compete for a spot in the women's world championship. As we already know, this did not materialize, as the team struggled in the regional tournament, getting eliminated even before the start of the playoffs.

Currently, the Turkish organization has no scheduled matches, and its roster consists of three inactive players. Based on this, it can be assumed that the team is heading towards dissolution, like many other teams this year.
