The next matches of Group A at ESL Pro League Season 20 are over, where FaZe made it to the playoffs of the tournament after winning the final of the lower grid. And Lynn Vision left the tournament in last place
FaZe vs. Sangal
The first map was Anubis, Sangal's team of choice, where the game started off fairly evenly, but after the first half FaZe were able to grab the lead, ending it 7-5 in their favor. In the second half, despite Sangal's attempts, FaZe brought the map to victory with a final score of 13-11.
The second map was Dust2, the FaZe team's choice. Here they showed dominant play from the start. After the first half the score was 10-2 in their favor and in the second half they confidently finished the match with a final score of 13-5.
Lynn Vision vs FlyQuest
The first map was Anubis, Lynn Vision's choice, where the game was evenly matched from the start and at the end of the first half the score was 6-6. In the second half Lynn Vision were able to impose their game by taking advantage of their opponent's mistakes and better realizing their opportunities. Thanks to this they confidently finished the map with a score of 13-7 in their favor.
The second map was Vertigo, FlyQuest's choice, where they started off not quite confidently, losing the first 6 rounds, but were able to come back, finishing the half with a score of 5-7. After changing sides, FlyQuest came back confidently into the game, winning 7 rounds in a row to win the map by a score of 13-10.
The third map was Ancient, where FlyQuest immediately took the lead, playing aggressively on defense and showing great team coordination. They finished the first half with a score of 8-4, but after a change of sides they had a bad attack and lost the game to extra rounds. But in time they were able to pull themselves together and finish the map with a score of 16-13.
Best Players
In the first game the title of best player went to Håvard “rain” Nygaard, who played an incredible game and finished with a rating of 7.8. In the second game the best player was Zhang “z4kr” Sike, who despite the defeat had a great series, as well as the whole tournament in principle, ending the game with a rating of 7.3.
Next Matches
In the next match, Sangal will meet FlyQuest in the last chance grid. Both teams will be fighting for a chance to advance to the next round, and it promises to be a tense encounter as both teams have shown strong play throughout the tournament.
Meanwhile, FaZe successfully secured a playoff spot, while Lynn Vision exited the tournament in 29th-32nd place, for which they received a $3,500 prize.
