arT: "This is an important tournament for us, as there might not be another chance this season"

Andrei "arT" Piovezan, known as the creator of the aggressive playstyle of FURIA, ended his six-year career with the team this summer. Under the leadership of Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, the team moved away from its signature style, prompting arT to seek a new team.

He has now found his home with Fluxo and has already qualified with them for the LAN tournament RES Regional Champions 2024 — his first offline competition since leaving FURIA.

Changes after the RMR setback

Fluxo faced challenges in the RMR qualifiers, losing just one step away from making it to the major. "After the first BO1 where we suffered a defeat, we found ourselves in a very tough spot," shared Andrei "arT" Piovezan. "In such matches, you can't make mistakes, and despite our fighting spirit, RED Canids were better prepared."

Despite this, arT remains optimistic about the future of the team, which recently lost Lucaozy. According to him, this change was inevitable: "It was a matter of time. Lucaozy is an excellent player, and moving to MIBR was a logical step for him."

New talents in Fluxo

One of the key figures in the new lineup is the young player piriajr, who, according to arT, has already shown himself to be a rising star. "I was very pleasantly surprised by his confidence and level of play," noted Andrei "arT" Piovezan. "He is truly ready to play at this level."

arT also commented on kye, who temporarily replaced him in FURIA: "I think such decisions are often too hasty, but it's a good experience. He regained confidence and will get better."

Restructuring and future plans

In Fluxo, arT has taken on more responsibility, both inside and outside the server. "When I played at FURIA, the main pressure was on winning, but here I am more focused on the long-term development of young players," explained Piovezan. This makes Fluxo not just a team for the present, but a project for the future.
