The first day of the CCT Global Finals 2025 has concluded—and it was intense: two powerful comebacks, one 13:0, and the tournament atmosphere was already palpable from the first matches. The tournament has just begun, and we've already witnessed some real action.

Results of the First Day

The start of the tournament was not without surprises, as B8 continued to impress: they ended the first half of the map with a score of 11:1, and in the second half, they managed to come back on defense on Mirage and win 13:11. Another comeback occurred on the second map of this match, but this time by Partizan, who were trailing 11:4 but managed to rally and win 13:11. However, B8 ultimately won the match.

Another surprise was BetBoom's victory against Wildcard with a score of 13:0 on Dust2. This was particularly surprising because Dust2 is not BetBoom's strongest map, where they have a 17% win rate over the past six months.

Matches of the Second Day

By the end of the day, four participants of the upper bracket semifinals were determined—BetBoom, HEROIC, B8, and Imperial. The losing teams—Wildcard, 500, BC.Game, and Partizan—now fall to the lower bracket and are one step away from elimination. The upper bracket semifinals tomorrow will feature the tournament favorites:
