Niantic has officially dropped the full details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most content-packed events in the mobile game’s history. Whether you missed the in-person GO Fest stops in Osaka, Jersey City, or Paris or you’re just looking to grind out some exciting new content, this global celebration promises to bring the heat June 28–29.

Global Event Dates & Tickets

The GO Fest 2025: Global event is scheduled for Saturday, June 28 to Sunday, June 29, 2025 and all players globally can participate. While the event does not necessitate payment for participation, those who purchase tickets will receive Special Research which rewards Volcanion along with additional bonuses including some avatar collectibles and encounters.

Rotating Habitat Hours & Pokémon

Each day, four themed habitats will rotate every hour, each offering unique spawns. These habitat windows repeat twice per day:

Global Challenges & Ultra Unlocks

Ticket holders will be able to complete hourly Global Challenges. If completed in time, an additional bonus will activate for the remainder of that hour. But there’s more at stake, every completed challenge contributes to unlocking major post-event Ultra Unlocks:

New Debuts & Raid Bosses

Two costumed Pokémon will make their global debut in raids:

• Dapper Pikachu
• Dapper Falinks

Additionally, players who defeat Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta may encounter them with unique special backgrounds, adding collector’s value to these Legendary Pokémon.

Special Research & Avatar Rewards

Buying a GO Fest ticket unlocks a Special Research story culminating in a Volcanion encounter. Completion also nets:
