The developers of FragPunk have officially announced the launch of Season 2, titled Rising Tempest — the update will go live on June 26, 2025, immediately following the conclusion of the Global Invitational LAN tournament. The main highlight of the season is a brand-new hero: Hurricane, a polar bear armed with smoke, flashbang, and electric attacks.

New Lancer: Hurricane

Joining the roster is Hurricane — a charismatic polar bear who controls the power of the storm. He uses smoke screens, flash grenades, and thunder strikes to shift the flow of combat. According to the developers, he is the first hero of his kind in the game and will be a true challenge for opponents.

New Maps and Modes

Zomna — A Vertical, Port-Themed Map

One of the season’s main maps is Zomna, a visually striking location designed in the style of a port city, filled with vertical combat zones. It features a complex, multi-level zipline system that allows players to move quickly and control high ground. It’s especially appealing to those who enjoy fast-paced, aggressive playstyles.

Flashpoint — A New PvE

Mode In addition to the classic PvP battles, players will now have access to a new co-op PvE mode called Flashpoint. Set in a jungle-hidden prison, teams of players fight off waves of zombie-like creatures while completing survival objectives. It’s a great way to take a break from competitive matches and experience a new gameplay format

Battle Pass and New Bundles

Starting June 20, players can grab new, colorful “Street Carnival” skins, and with the launch of the new season, an updated battle pass will unlock — featuring fresh cosmetics and decorative items for fan-favorite heroes.

Phantom Fleet Bundle

Alongside the new Lancer and maps, Season 2 also introduces the Phantom Fleet bundle. This collection includes new weapon skins and cosmetics themed around a ghostly naval fleet. With mystical visual effects, a dark blue palette, and maritime aesthetics, it delivers a unique vibe for fans of stylish loadouts.
