Date Everything! is a sandbox dating sim developed by Sassy Chap Games and published by Team17. The objective of the game is to ‘date’ your household objects. When you Directly Acknowledge a Thing’s Existence using the Dateviator, the pair of glasses allows you to interact with these objects in their personified form.

You can form relationships with all the objects that we call Dateables. There are three different types of relationships that you can have with them; Friends, Love or Hate. Depending on whichever you end up with, each Dateable has a few different endings to their storyline.

Regina ‘Reggie’ Rejection is Dateable #100. He is the manifestation of Rejection himself, revelling in broken relationships and encouraging hatred. Being from a Sass SPECS category, he has a very flamboyant and sassy personality.

How To Unlock Reggie

As the concept of Rejection, Reggie can’t be unlocked by interacting with a specific object. You will have to ‘be rejected’ for the first time to meet Reggie.

This means interacting with another Dateable, responding poorly in the conversation and getting them to Hate you. After the interaction ends, Reggie materialises instantly. The personification of rejection wears a glamorous outfit of red and gold, with gold beads in his braids and a skirt in the shape of a big, broken heart. He has a love for rejected relationships, mischief and all things ‘hate’. 

By the end of your first interaction, Reggie adds an app to your phone to talk to him whenever you want- so that you don’t have to keep ‘being rejected’ to summon him.

If you are trying to get the ‘Love Everyone’ achievement, you should ideally choose a Dateable that you can easily change relationship status with. For example, Daemon the Glitch asks you to choose between Friends, Love and Hate. After meeting Reggie, he will ask you to choose again and you can then easily change it back to a Love status.

How To Change Relationship Status

Relationships with Reggie are a bit tricky because his opinion on you is dependent on whether you experience rejection or a lack of it. There is, however, a way to achieve this without going on a rejection spree.

How To Get ‘Friends’ Status

In order to be Friends with Reggie, you will need to go through two rejections. He will then become your friend and offer you some SPECS points.

This could be a bit tricky, if you were aiming for the ‘Love Everyone’ achievement- but it is still possible. For the first rejection, Daemon is the go-to. However, the second rejection requires using a Candy on certain Dateables. For example, you can get Jean Loo to Hate you by failing in his final rap battle. Afterwards, you can use a Candy to get a second chance at his Love ending.

How To Get ‘Love’ Status

Use the Reggie app while wearing the Dateviator. When he appears, you have the option to ask him to ‘teach you how to hate’. Opt for the nice responses as the lesson goes on. This will make him Hate you- which he then realises that makes him Love you ( because he loves Hate). 

You are then presented with the option of having him Hate you or ‘hate’(Love) you. Choose the ‘hate’ option (the one with single quotation marks) to achieve the Love status with Reggie.

How To Get ‘Hate’ Status

Similarly, you can follow the previous route of failing his lessons. When the option pops up to have him Hate you or ‘hate’ you, choose the one without single quotation marks.

How To Get Reggie’s Collectables

You can get 3 Collectables from Reggie. Here is how you can get them:

• Collectable #1: Speak with Reggie.
• Collectable #2: Get a Love Ending with Reggie.
• Collectable #3: Achieve a Hate Everything Ending with everyone in the game.

Reggie’s Realization Recipe

By the end of each Dateables’ storyline, you have the option to Realize them. This brings them to life, allowing them to live as normal human beings. Doing this requires you to use their Realization Recipe, an amount of SPECS points that you need to have.

To Realize Reggie, you will need:

• Smarts: 80 points
• Poise: 80 points
• Empathy: 0 points
• Charm: 0 points
• Sass: 90 points

When you aren’t able to Realize someone despite having all the necessary SPECS points, it could be due to their Unfurnished Business. This essentially means that they are still needed in the storyline of other Dateables.
