There are many fruit mutations in Roblox’s Grow A Garden, but the most valuable one is the Disco Mutation.

Disco-mutated fruits are easy to spot because they continuously glow in a cycle of colors - red, pink, yellow, green, and blue. These fruits also sell for much more, thanks to a massive x125 price multiplier, the highest of all mutations in the game.

However, getting a Disco mutation is not as simple as getting regular weather-based mutations. It is not part of the rotating weather pool that usually comes every so often.

How to Get the Disco Mutation

Disco mutations can only occur during the Disco event, which is manually triggered by a game admin. The Disco event usually happens during update launches, the start of special events, or for celebratory purposes.

For example, during the record-breaking Farm Cosmetics event, the developers of Grow A Garden launched eight back-to-back Disco events. These were held to celebrate the update and the game reaching nearly 9 million concurrent players, breaking unprecedented milestones.

During a Disco event, all players in the game will dance to “Raining Tacos” by American musician Parry Gripp. While the 1-minute and 34-second song plays, fruits have a chance to gain the Disco mutation.

Although it’s impossible to predict exactly when the next Disco event will happen, your best chance is to log in just before a new event begins. And Grow A Garden creators are known to be generous, so expect it to come in waves like it did previously!

The upcoming Bizzy Bee Event is scheduled to launch on May 31 at 10:00 PM SGT / 4:00 PM CET / 10:00 AM EST (previous day). Make sure to stand by for this event to possibly catch the next Disco event and earn Disco mutations.
