In Grow A Garden, crops can mutate into unique forms that not only sell for higher profits but also make great little gardening trophies. Selling these mutated fruits is the main way to earn big - but how do mutations actually happen?
Mutations can happen randomly, but many are triggered by specific weather conditions. Some rare mutations occur without any environmental influence, and these tend to sell for even higher profits.
What makes it even more exciting is that mutations can stack. A single fruit can have five, six, or even more mutations at once, making it incredibly valuable - and we are talking billions of Shekels of worth.
To farm wisely and make big bucks, we recommend checking out the full list of mutations and their weather triggers below!
Price multiplier: x2
During rainy weather, crops have a 50% chance to gain the Wet mutation, which doubles their value. Rain also boosts crop growth speed by 50%. If combined with the Chilled mutation (from Frost weather), crops can evolve into the more valuable Frozen mutation.
Price multiplier: x2
Frosty weather gives a high chance for crops to become Chilled, increasing growth speed by 50% and applying a x2 price multiplier. If Wet crops also turn Chilled, they transform into Frozen crops.
Price multiplier: x10
The Frozen mutation occurs when crops are both Wet and Chilled, especially recognizable as fruits are encapsulated in giant ice blocks. This strong combination grants a massive x10 price multiplier.
Price multiplier: x2
The Moonlit mutation can only occur at night time, throughout the Luna Glow event. Up to six crops may turn Moonlit at a single night session, gaining a x2 price multiplier. Moonlit plants can be traded with the Wise Old Owl NPC to grant you night-themed rewards such as Night Seed Packs, Night Eggs and, Night Staffs.
Price multiplier: x4
During the Blood Moon event, crops can mutate into Bloodlit, gaining a x4 multiplier. The Blood Moon rises once every three night cycles, making its mutation rarer and more valuable than the regular night-time Moonlit mutation. Bloodlit fruits are considered moon-mutated plants, meaning you can trade them with the Wise Old Owl NPC for rewards.

Thunderstorms cause lightning to strike random spots on the map. Struck crops become Shocked, glow visibly, and receive a huge x100 price multiplier. Using a Lightning Rod can help attract lightning to specific areas on your garden.
Price multiplier: x120
Meteor showers cause shooting stars to hit the map. Crops struck gain the Celestial mutation, marked by purple sparks and gain a massive x120 multiplier. A Star Caller can be used to attract meteors.
Here are all other mutations that are not prompted by regular weather.
The Pollinated mutation is planned for the upcoming Bizzy Bee Swarm Event, coming May 31. Details and the price multiplier are yet to be announced.
