Grow A Garden may seem like a simple gardening game at first, but thanks to features like fruit mutations, gear utilities, and pet animals, it has captured the attention of millions across the Roblox community. The developers, The Garden Game, frequently introduce new events and quality-of-life updates, including a recently added code redemption feature.

Grow A Garden: Active Events

Chicken Zombie Event

Date: Saturday, May 17, 10:00 PM – Saturday, May 24, 6:00 PM

During this event, players who logged in before the start of the Blood Moon Event (May 17) received a Chicken Zombie Pet for free. This unique pet can infect crops with Zombified mutations. Players can also find themed zombie gear and seeds in the shop until the event ends on May 24.

Lunar Glow Event

Date: Started May 10 – End date unknown

The Lunar Glow Event changes the dynamic of nighttime in the game. Every hour, nighttime occurs for 10 minutes. During this window, fruits have a high chance to mutate into Moonlit variants. These mutated fruits can be traded with the Wise Old Owl NPC (found at the center of the map) for rewards such as Night Seed Packs and Night Egg Packs.

You can earn up to 530 points through trading, eventually unlocking an exclusive Owl pet. Moonlit fruits can also be sold for twice their normal value.

Blood Moon Event

Date: Started May 17 – End date unknown

Running concurrently with the Lunar Glow Event, the Blood Moon Event adds a more intense twist to nighttime. There is a 33% chance for a Blood Moon to appear during the night, meaning it occurs roughly every 3 hours and 10 minutes.

When active, fruits can mutate into Bloodlit variants, which are more valuable than Moonlit fruits. Bloodlit fruits can also be traded with the Wise Old Owl for rewards or sold for four times the normal price.

Additionally, the Blood Moon Shop appears during this event. It rises next to the Wise Old Owl and sells rare items such as the Star Caller and Blood Kiwi.

Monster Mash Record

Date: Sunday, May 24, 9:45 PM – 11:00 PM

This special event invites players to help set a world record for the most people performing the Monster Mash dance at the same time in Roblox. Details are still limited, and we will update this section as the developers release more information. Stay tuned!

Farm Cosmetics Update

Date: Saturday, May 24, 10:00 PM – Saturday, May 31, 6:00 PM

This update will introduce the first-ever lineup of cosmetics for customizing your garden! The developers hinted at the addition of friendly garden gnomes and water fountains to personalize your garden space for the first time!
