In the Blood Moon Event, one of the nine new pets that was added to the game is the Chicken Zombie. A nod to Minecraft’s infamous Chicken Jockey, this pet is obtainable only through joining the game before the event. Here’s everything you need to know about the Chicken Zombie.

How To Get Chicken Zombie

To get the Chicken Zombie, you would have had to be present before the update release on May 17, 2025.

However, there are other ways to get your hands on one. Firstly, you can try to engage in a trade with other players that have a Chicken Zombie. Some people might be tempted by other exclusive items in game such as Candy Blossom. If that doesn't work, you can only hope that some player out there are generous enough to want to gift you the Chicken Zombie. 

Currently, there isn’t any other available way to obtain the Chicken Zombie.

Chicken Zombie Traits

• Appearance: a drooling zombie, wearing a straw hat and overalls, riding a chicken
• Obtaining Method: Free
• Hunger: 35 000
• Traits: a nearby fruit has a ~20% chance of being Zombified every 30 minutes, increases egg hatch speed by ~10%

Zombified Mutation

Plants with this mutation have a green fog surrounding it and dripping in green liquid. When sold, the crop will sell for x25 the crop's price.
