Talon Esports is a mid-tier team on the Pacific scene. They didn't earn any significant achievements last year, but they didn't usually lose at the bottom of the rankings either. But in this match, their opponent is more than a strong level, and therefore they are unlikely to be defeated.

In turn, their opponents in the past were one of the favorites last season. Before the start of the current tournament, they took part in the SOOP VALORANT League 2024, where they finished in second place. VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff takes place from June 18 to November 9 in LAN format at Colosseum Sangam in Seoul, Pivdenna Korea. Twenty-five VCT partner teams compete for two spots at Masters Bangkok and the all-important Pacific Points, which are key to qualifying for the World Championships.
