ZETA DIVISION is set to make a comeback to the pinnacle of VALORANT with a new roster

On January 30th, Riot Games released a promo video showcasing the revamped lineup of ZETA DIVISION, participating in the international VCT PACIFIC 2024 league.

During the offseason, Hiroki "hiroronn" Yanai and Yushin "Yuran" Hato joined the ZETA DIVISION roster as new players, and Carlos "Carlão" Mohn was appointed as the head coach. In the video, the team shared their goals for the current season, introduced the new members, and expressed their desire to compete against specific teams.

One of the veteran members, Yuma "Dep" Hashimoto, commented on the two newcomers: "Both rookies enjoy battling each other, and the first three players have also started engaging in mutual clashes". He added that their arrival led to changes in the team's playing style. Shota "SugarZ3ro" Watanabe emphasized that the playing style would differ from the previous season.

In the 2023 season, ZETA DIVISION missed participation in VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo and was eliminated in the group stage of VALORANT Champions 2023. However, the coach confidently stated that the new lineup would usher the team into a new era.

The debut of the revamped ZETA DIVISION roster is set for February 17th at the VCT PACIFIC 2024 KICK-OFF.
