Yay continues to fuel intrigue regarding his future team

The well-known American esports player and finalist of the 2022 World Championship - Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker continues to tease fans. Today on his Twitter account, he once again posted a hint about his future team, without giving any specifics.

Jaccob is known for his communicativeness, for which he received recognition from fans and the entire Valorant community. After leaving his last club, Disguised, he has been actively searching for a new home. Yay has expressed a desire to play for Fnatic and confirmed rumors that he has been in talks with Sentinels, but there have been no official contract news. The community has also been spreading information for a long time that Jaccob will be the new member of NRG, and this option seems most logical after the player’s recent statements.

Recently, Jaccob announced on his Twitter account that he will participate in the franchise in the upcoming 2024 season. This means that the player will compete on the professional Valorant Champions Tour stage, but it is unknown under which banner.

After three days, today, yay posted another message, in which he states - "get ready to learn English, buddy." The curiosity of this phrase lies in the fact that the player himself is from America, so he does not need to learn English, and the phrase itself most likely serves as a hint.

It can be assumed that the English language is needed to communicate with English-speaking teammates. And this means that the esports player’s future team will be from the American region. So far, it is unknown which of the clubs will become yay's new home, but the possible options are: NRG, where Jaccob's former teammates currently play, LOUD, which was recently left by the star duelist.

In the near future, we will find out which team yay will end up in for the next season. To not miss this important information, continue to follow our portal where we will be publishing current information on events in the Valorant esports scene.
