Xeta says goodbye to T1 and leaves Valorant due to mental and physical health issues

Today, sad news has emerged for all fans of the Valorant competitive scene. Legendary Korean player Son "xeta" Seon-ho is not only leaving the T1 team but also ending his professional career in Valorant.

This decision was announced by the team representatives on their official Twitter account. They bid farewell to the player and wished him all the best for the future. Son himself explained the reasons for his decision on his official social media accounts. The esports athlete stated that over time, his physical and mental health is not what it used to be, and the level of stress only increases with each period. Moreover, xeta mentioned that he is facing mandatory military service, which is another reason for his decision.

Today, I would like to announce that I have decided to leave the active lineup and end my player career. I have played directly in CSGO and VALORANT for 8 years, giving all my passion and love to these two games and receiving many memories and happiness. But recently, I also realized that my mental and physical health is not as it was when I started. Most importantly, besides my health, as a Korean, I have to serve in the national military service, so I decided to make this decision at this stage.
