With the release of Valorant patch 9.08, Riot Games has announced another map rotation. Two maps will be replaced with the old ones, and one will undergo minor changes.

According to Valorant News, with the release of patch 9.08, which is scheduled for October, we will see the return of Pearl and Split maps, while Icebox and Lotus will be removed from the active pool. It is likely that Pearl and Split maps will return in their old version, without any changes. Only the Sunset map, namely point B, will undergo changes.

The rotation of maps in Valorant brings both advantages and challenges. The advantage is that players are able to adapt to new conditions, which increases their skills and forces them to improve. In addition, it helps to avoid monotony in matches and maintain interest in the game.
