With patch 8.11 in Valorant, there will no longer be a map rotation, but not for the ranked mode

Recently, the developers of Valorant published their own "dev diary," where they shared details about upcoming changes in the game, as well as balance adjustments. Following this, a lot of information surfaced online, and one of the most significant pertains to the future map rotation.

As it has been revealed, changes to the map rotation will be implemented in patch 8.11, which is expected to be released in early June. After the update, Valorant will eliminate map rotation, meaning that before the start of a match, the system will randomly select one map from all existing ones, rather than from a limited selection as before.

However, it should be noted that the rotation will not be absent in all modes. All maps will be available in Unrated, Swiftplay, Spike Rush, and Escalation modes, while in Competitive, Premier, and Deathmatch, the rotation will still be present. This news has disappointed the community because Competitive is the main and most popular mode in Valorant.

Patch 8.11 will appear in Valorant around June 11-12, and in addition to the map rotation, it will include many other interesting changes. Continue to follow our portal to find out about all the new features and innovations that will be added in Valorant.
