In their fifth consecutive international tournament match, the Chinese team EDward Gaming suffered a defeat against the LOUD team, leading to their elimination from Masters Madrid.
Over the course of two maps, the Chinese managed to secure only five rounds, causing strong frustration among the coaching staff. A video published by the official EDward Gaming channels shows coach AfteR and manager Aqua emotionally addressing the players after the match.
"We cannot accept today's result" said the team's coach, adding that despite their regional successes and belief in the players, what happened was unacceptable. All of this unfolds against the backdrop of EDward Gaming participation in the VALORANT Champions Tour China Stage 1, where their next match will be against JD Gaming on Thursday, April 6.

Despite the defeat at Masters Madrid, EDward Gaming remains one of the top teams, securing prize placements in international tournaments for the third time in a row. In a few days, we will see the Chinese team at the VCT 2024 season tournament: China Stage 1, which will take place from April 5 to May 12.
