The prestigious American Sports Emmy Awards, which are held every spring, announced the results of the voting last night. Valorant was among the various winners, and the shooter was recognized as the best in the Outstanding Esports Championship category.

Sports Emmy Awards is an annual American award presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for outstanding achievements in sports television. One of this year's Outstanding Esports Championship categories included Valoran and its Valorant Champions 2024. The shooter from Riot competed with other nominees like Worlds 2024, The International, and others.

But a few hours ago, it became known that it was the grand final of Valorant Champions 2024 between EDward Gaming and Team Heretics that was recognized as the best in its category, which led to Valorant being crowned the winner.

This event was commented on by Leo Faria, Head of the Valorant esports department, who was present at the nomination. He stated that Riot does everything for the players, and they are very pleased to receive the award and recognition for the work and efforts they put in.
