Valorant unites hearts: Keznit and Katsumi announce relationship

On August 31, KRÜ Esports duelist keznit announced on his X account that he is in a relationship with professional player katsumi. In the post, he wrote: “IMY (I miss you a lot),” confirming their romantic involvement.

Keznit, a 23-year-old player from Chile, has achieved significant success in his career with top South American teams like KRÜ Esports, Leviatán, and Australs. He has gained notable attention for his time with KRÜ Esports, where he has been for almost three years. He placed 4th at VALORANT Champions 2021 and participated in 7 international tournaments, establishing himself as a key player in positions such as Jett, Raze, and Neon.

Katsumi, also 23, from the United States, began her Valorant career in 2020 with Cloud9 White and XSET. With Cloud9 White, she secured 6 victories in North American women’s tournaments and established herself as a leading player in the women’s scene. In November 2022, she placed 4th at the VCT 2022 GC Championship with North America.

Specializing in Astra, Omen, and Viper, Katsumi has a career K/D ratio of 1.12 and has earned over $39,000 in three years. In October 2023, she announced her transition from the women’s scene to Challenger for new achievements.

The announcement of their relationship has sparked a flurry of emotions, gathering nearly 2,000 comments and congratulations from many professional players. Earlier in August, keznit had posted about enrolling in an English course, which led to speculation about a possible move to a team outside South America. However, it turned out that learning the language was related to his desire to spend time with his girlfriend.
