Yesterday, it was announced that there are new changes in the Digital Athletics Valorant roster. Two main roster players, Domagoj "Doma" Fancev and Utku "DeadInk" Aydın, have announced their departure from the team.
This decision was made public through the organization’s official Twitter account. The team representatives thanked each player, stating that they were an important part of the team. Interestingly, the club did not emphasize each player individually but bid farewell with the same text, only changing the nicknames.
Both players joined the team at the beginning of 2024, but at different times. Domagoj "Doma" Fancev participated in the first stage of VALORANT Challengers 2024 Turkey: Birlik Split 1, where his team finished in 9th place. Utku "DeadInk" Aydın joined later and helped the team secure 4th place in VALORANT Challengers 2024 Turkey: Birlik Split 1 - Promotion/Relegation. This result did not allow the club to advance to the second stage of the competition, so the departure of the players reflects the unsatisfactory tournament results.
It is still unknown who will replace the two players in the main roster, but considering that the team did not advance to the second stage of the competition, the management has plenty of time to find replacements.
