Two players and head coach depart from Leviatan GC

Argentinian Valorant powerhouse Leviatan introduced an updated roster for their women's team at the beginning of April 2024, but just a month later, significant changes are already taking place. Yesterday, it was announced that two main roster members, Francisca "Hotaru" Venegas and Florencia "Jazzy" Mariño, along with head coach Matías "Mattjkun" Jugo, are leaving the team.

The organization shared this decision through their official social networks, warmly bidding farewell to the former members and wishing them the best in their future endeavors. Although no official reason was given, the decision was likely based on the team's performance at the recent VCT 2024: Game Changers LAS tournament.

All three former members joined the team on April 4, when the organization unveiled the updated Valorant roster. Shortly thereafter, the team participated in the VCT 2024: Game Changers Latin America South open qualifiers, where slots for the closed stage were contested. Despite finishing in fifth place, which secured them a direct invitation to the next tournament, the management decided to part ways with part of the main roster.

The future of the players after their departure remains unknown, as none of the women have yet commented on the end of their collaboration. Former head coach Mattjkun, on the other hand, has already stated that he is ready to move on and is open to new opportunities in his region.
