Two coaching staff members and a player leave Fenerbahçe Esports

The Turkish team Fenerbahçe Esports, associated with the well-known football club, has recently announced changes to their Valorant roster. According to reports, two members of the coaching staff are leaving the team, and one player is moving to inactive status and is also starting to look for a new home.

This decision was revealed through various sources. Representatives of the organization announced their farewell to coach Alper "colbsoN" Başboğa, thanking him for his contributions to the team. Meanwhile, manager Mehmet “yetgin” Yetgin and player Eren "sturNN" Oduncular themselves announced on their official social media that they are leaving the Turkish team.

We parted ways by mutual agreement with our VALORANT coach Alper 'colbsoN' Başboğa. We thank him for the value he added to our team and wish him success in his future career.

The contributions of former members to the history of Fenerbahçe Esports

Eren "sturNN" Oduncular was the first of the three mentioned members to join the Turkish club. He began his journey under the team's banner at the beginning of 2023, securing 3rd place at TESFED Türkiye Kupası - 2023, and later 2nd place at Open Fire All Stars 2023. However, during the official competitive season organized by Riot, the team's performance was less successful than during the off-season, and this did not improve with the arrival of coach Alper "colbsoN" Başboğa, who joined the club at the end of 2023. Under his leadership, the team placed 8th at VALORANT Challengers 2024 Turkey: Birlik Split 1, and later 10th in the subsequent Split 2.

It's worth noting that these are not the first changes to the Valorant roster. Earlier this month, the organization had already parted ways with three players, and now with the departure of sturNN, only one player remains on Fenerbahçe Esports' roster. The future of the team in Valorant is now uncertain, and we will be following the official social media channels to see if the organization will continue its activities in Riot's shooter.
