“They made the wrong choice” - Munchkin talks about leaving T1

Representatives of the Pacific region in Valorant stand out from the others with their media presence and community engagement, which they have proven once again. Recently, representatives of VCT Pacific released the second episode of the series about Asian teams in Valorant, this time focusing on the Gen.G Esports team.

Let's recall that a few days ago, the organizers released the first episode, which highlighted the ZETA DIVISION team. The next, and second episode, concerns the Gen.G Esports team, and specifically its member Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom. In the video, he talks about his experience in the previous club T1, as well as the reasons for ending the cooperation. Byeon himself reports that he had to leave the team because they were moving in different directions, and now, he plans to show that they made the wrong choice.

Note that Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom was a member of T1 for a year and a half, from the beginning of 2022 to the middle of 2023. The player's only achievements include a 3rd place in the VCT 2023: Pacific League regional season, and a 3rd-4th place at Convergence 2023. Meanwhile, the rest of the official tournaments by Riot Games ended in failure.

Considering that there are more than two weeks left until the start of the Pacific Kickoff, it can be assumed that the tournament organizers will release a new episode about one of the partner teams every day.
